Setelah Kiai Ma\u2019shum Ali wafat, ia dinikahkan dengan Syaikh Muhaimin al-Lasemi, pendiri Madrasah Darul Ulum dan pengajar di Masjidil Haram.<\/p>\n<p>Sebelum prosesi pernikahan antara Nyai Khairiyah dengan Syaikh Muhaimin al-Lasemi, keluarga Jombang yang diwakili oleh Kiai Hasyim Asy\u2019ari, Kiai Wahab Hasbullah, dan Kiai Bisri Syansuri berkunjung ke Pesantren Sarang (25 Oktober 1928 M) untuk menemui guru Syaikh Muhaimin al-Lasemi (Kiai Ahmad al-Sarani dan Kiai Syuaib al-Sarani). Dalam pertemuan tersebut bertepatan dengan detik-detik lahirnya Kiai Maimoen Zubair (28 Oktober 1928 M). Waktu itu, Kiai Ahmad tidak mau ketinggalan mengambil berkah ketiga kiai tersebut. Ia mengambil air untuk dimintakan berkah doa dari ketiga kiai Jombang tersebut untuk diminumkan kepada putrinya, Nyai Mahmudah yang sedang mengandung jabang bayi Kiai Maimoen Zubair.<\/p>\n<p>Setelah Kiai Maimoen Lahir, Kiai Syuaib memerintahkan kepada Kiai Zubair untuk mentahnikkan dan meminta berkah doa kepada Kiai Hasyim Asy\u2019ari dan Kiai Faqih Maskumambang, yang mana keduanya adalah pendiri Nahdlatul Ulama yang dipilih secara aklamasi sebagai Rais Akbar Nahdlatul Ulama dan wakilnya. Oleh sebab itu, maka tidak mengherankan jika Kiai Maimoen Zubair pernah mengatakan, \u201cAku iki wes NU sak durunge dilahirno.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Amirul Ulum<br \/>\nSantri Mbah Moen
