Ia mempunyai putri cantik dan ingin menikahkan sang putri tersebut dengan santri yang alim. Setelah melalui proses yang panjang ada pemuda Arab yang dianggap alim, yang bersedia melamar putri juragan Kelantan tersebut. Setelah pernikahan berlangsung, akhirnya sang putri mengetahui bahwa suaminya ternyata tidaklah alim, sehingga hal ini membuatnya <em>shock<\/em>, yang mengakibatkan ia meninggal dunia.<\/p>\n<p>Waktu itu sedang dalam proses wuquf di Arafah. Dengan sangat hormat, juragan Kelantang meminta agar Mbah Moen (yang waktu itu masih dalam proses belajar di Haramain) agar bersedia untuk mengimami salat jenazah sang putri. Mbah Moen pun berkenan mengabulkan permintaan tersebut. Ketika sudah mengiyakan, tiba-tiba ada kejadian aneh. Mbah Moen lupa akan jumlah takbir dalam salat jenazah. Ia menjadi bingung. Mau bertanya kepada orang di sekelilingnya, ia merasa malu dan tidak pantas soalnya sudah dikenal sebagai santri Haramain murid para ulama alim.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Baca juga&#8230;\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ulamanusantaracenter.com\/mbah-moen-berjuang-melawan-penjajah\/\">Mbah Moen Berjuang Melawan Penjajah<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sebelum salat jenazah dimulai, Mbah Moen mendapat ide. Ia pun pergi ke tukang gali kuburan seraya berkata, &#8220;Apakah kamu Islam atau tidak?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Tukang gali kuburan nampak marah dikatakan Islam atau tidak. &#8220;Kamu menghina kami tidak Islam.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Tenang,.tenang. saya hanya ingin memastikan saja.&#8221; Mbah Moen menenangkan.<\/p>\n<p>Ketika sudah tenang, Mbah Moen melanjutkan, &#8220;Seandainya kamu Islam, takbir salat jenazah ada berapa?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Penggali kuburan menjawab, \u201cAda empat.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Alhamdulillah.&#8221; Mbah Moen pun akhirnya meninggalkan tukang gali kuburan.<\/p>\n<p>Dengan cara seperti ini, Mbah Moen bisa mengingat takbir salat jenazah yang tiba-tiba lupa dari ingatannya. Seandainya ditanyakan kepada temannya atau orang yang dekat dengannya maka akan membuatnya jatuh (malu), yang imbasnya akan diejek orang.
