Mereka ada yang diangkat sebagai pengajar di Masjidil Haram, menjadi khatib, imam di dalamnya, bahkan ada yang menjadi Mufti seperti Syaikh Ahmad khatib al-Minangkabawi.<\/p>\n<p>Selain wadhifah di atas, prestasi gemilang yang mereka dapatkan adalah, di antara mereka ada yang menjadi khatib guru besar di Masjidil Haram. Mereka diminta membantu menulis kitab yang diimlak oleh gurunya, seperti kitab Ianatu al-Thalibin karya Sayyid Abu Bakar Syatha, dan kitab Mauhibah Dzawil Fadhli karya Syaikh Mahfudz al-Termasi. Kedua katib kitab ini adalah Sayyid Ali al-Banjari dan Kiai Amir Idris Pekalongan.<\/p>\n<p>Pertama, Sayyid Ali al-Banjari merupakan ulama asal Banjar, Kalimantan Selatan dan masih keturunan Syaikh Arsyad al-Banjari. Ia mempunyai prestasi gemilang selama menjalani dirasah di Haramain. Ia diangkat menjadi salah satu pengajar di Masjidil Haram bersama sederetan ulama Nusantara lainnya seperti Syaikh Baqir al-Jukjawi, Syaikh Muhaimin al-Lasemi, Syaikh Mukhtar al-Bughuri, dan lain-lain.<\/p>\n<p>Kedua, Kiai Amir Pekalongan yang asalnya dari Cirebon kemudian hijrah ke Pekalongan. Ia adalah menantu Kiai Sholeh Darat al-Samarani, guru para ulama Jawi di Nusantara.<\/p>\n<p>Suatu ketika, Syaikh Mahfudz al-Termasi memintanya untuk menulis imlakan kitab Mauhibah Dzawil Fadhli yang berjumlah 8 jilid. Saat kitab tersebut sudah sempurna diimlak, al-Termasi menanyakan hal tersebut karena hendak dicetak, namun catatan Kiai Amir hilang separo. Iapun meminta waktu kepada al-Termasi tanpa harus diimlak. Sungguh hasilnya pun sama seperti yang sudah raib. Hafalannya sungguh kuat.<\/p>\n<p>Kedua kitab di atas sangat populer di Nusantara dan sering dijadikan mata kuliah di pesantren salaf bagi yang ingin mendalami ilmu fiqih.
